We would also like thank all of you that attended this year's event, and the 98th Pennsylvania Infantry Volunteers, Company A who joined us again and shared with us an exhibition. This group participates in many reenactments around the region. The original members of this company were Americans of German ancestry from Pennsylvania.

In addition, the Concordia Trust took the opportunity of German Day to recognize Stefanie and Kristen Schwab by presenting them an award for their interest in their German heritage through attendance at the Immanuel Lutheran German School and dancing with the GTV Almrausch Schuhplattler Group.

Congratulations to all!
